We woke to a beautiful sunrise on the ocean, eager to get to shore and Sand Valley. But first we planned to stop in Gdansk, 30 minutes from Gdynia.
We arrived early to the city centre on a warm and sunny Sunday morning. There were quite a few people out already, some jumping in the water, some taking a morning coffee and even a concert was underway. The first thing that striked me was that there was no shopping street that you are used to. Refreshing. We had a “fika” and a little later a tasty burger on the main street.
With a full stomach we drove to Sand Valley. We arrived to open and friendly arms and took a quick swim in our private pool connected to our house by the golf course and head out for our first round of golf.
The extreme spring weather had impacted the greens quite hard but the course has a fun and challenging layout. Jone played very well. Me and Marc, not so much. ?
I took some photos and footage of the course but will go up with the sun tomorrow for more. Those photos will be shown after we return to Sweden.
