About PÄRNU
Pärnu has a storied history dating back to 1251 enduring occupation from a number of countries and evolving into a popular summer destination with long white sandy beaches. Situated on the west coast these beaches have become the go to stop in summer for many Estonians, turning this small quaint town into a vibrant city full of holiday fun and excitement.
In season or all year round Pärnu offers some incredible dining, drawing on its Estonian and Nordic heritage. Much of the food is locally produced, always fresh and it seaside location ensures always the freshest catch.
Pärnu has long been regarded as a resort destination, building its allure on the back of curative sea and peat mud and any visit to Pärnu should include a stop at one of the many fantastic spas. Whether it is the therpautic mud you are after or a more traditional Estonian massage, both offer a great sense of relief after a day on the course.
Golf in Pärnu and Estonia for that matter doesn’t have the same history as the city or the spas, but it does have a course and experience that will never be forgotten.

The trip
You can always drive 24 hours nonstop between Helsingborg and Pärnu. A bit like we did in 2015 when we drove to Lofoten. Or you can be a little bit smarter and do like we did; Flights to Tallinn in Estonia, alternatively, to Riga in Latvia. Then you rent a car and drive to Pärnu which is only 1.5 hours away from both capitals.
